DON’T TAKE OUR WORD

Hear from our families

“My father has always been the rock of our family, and watching him struggle with his health was incredibly difficult. RMD Care changed everything. The caregivers don’t just meet his needs—they connect with him, listen to his stories, and treat him with the respect he deserves. It feels like they’ve become an extension of our family, and that peace of mind is something I can’t put a price on.”

Residents Father
“The team noticed Dad's appetite had changed and contacted the GP straight away. They caught a treatable infection early, before it became serious. That's the benefit of having care staff who really know the people they look after."
Harry Evans
Residents Father
"Having nurses on site at Cams Ridge means Mum's complex medical needs are managed professionally, but she doesn't have to keep going to appointments. The nurses coordinate everything, and I'm kept informed about her health throughout."

Families often ask

What's the difference between residential and nursing care?

Residential care is for people who need help with daily activities but don't require registered nursing support. Nursing care is for those with complex health needs who need clinical support from qualified nurses. If you're unsure which is appropriate, we can discuss your loved one's needs during your visit and help you work it out.

Do you have availability?

Availability changes regularly. Call us on 01329 238156 to discuss current spaces in both residential and nursing care.

Do you accept respite for people with complex needs?

Yes. Having nursing care available makes Cams Ridge particularly suitable for respite when someone has ongoing health conditions. We can provide short stays for convalescence after hospital, to give family carers a break, or to trial the home before making longer-term decisions.

Can families be involved in care decisions?

Absolutely. We work in partnership with families, keeping you informed about your loved one's health, discussing any changes or concerns, and involving you in decisions about their care. Our nurses will update you regularly and are always available to discuss medical aspects of care.
