Joanna joined Stanborough Lodge in 2021 as a Care Coordinator, was promoted to Deputy Manager within the same year, and became Registered Manager in May 2023 following her Level 5 qualification and CQC registration. Joanna's route into care began with supporting a family member, and that personal experience shapes how she leads the home today.

Set in three-quarters of an acre of landscaped gardens overlooking open farmland, Stanborough Lodge offers plenty of space to relax and enjoy nature. Pathways wind through flowers and raised planters, with quiet seating areas for sunshine or shade. For many residents, being outdoors brings tranquility and comfort.
Our Activity Coordinator plans a varied weekly programme built around what residents enjoy most. There’s something for everyone, from crafts, music and gentle exercise to baking, games and seasonal events. Each activity is designed to create joy, spark memories and strengthen friendships.
