Not everyone is cut out for care. It takes patience, compassion, resilience and genuine warmth. If you’re the person people turn to, if you notice when something’s not quite right, if you find meaning in making someone’s day a bit brighter, then you’ll understand why our people stay for years.
We’ve built a workplace that feels like family; steady, supportive and proud to care together.
Whether you’re starting out in care or bringing years of experience, we’ll help you find the right role and feel part of the team from day one.

All new staff receive a thorough induction covering:

Training doesn't stop after induction.
We provide ongoing development opportunities, support with NVQ qualifications, and regular refresher training to keep skills current.
You'll work in small, close-knit teams where everyone knows each other. You'll have experienced managers you can turn to for guidance or just to talk through a difficult situation. You'll be encouraged to share ideas, raise concerns, and contribute to how we deliver care.

Many of our senior staff started as Care Assistants. We actively support career progression and promote from within wherever possible. If you're ambitious and committed, there's scope to develop your career with us.
Many of our team have been with us for five, ten, even twenty years, and that says a lot about what it feels like to work here.
“I am proud to be part of RMD Care and grateful for the opportunities I have been given.”
Gurpreet Kaur, Care Coordinator
