DON’T TAKE OUR WORD

Hear from our families

“My father has always been the rock of our family, and watching him struggle with his health was incredibly difficult. RMD Care changed everything. The caregivers don’t just meet his needs—they connect with him, listen to his stories, and treat him with the respect he deserves. It feels like they’ve become an extension of our family, and that peace of mind is something I can’t put a price on.”

Residents Father
“The team noticed Dad's appetite had changed and contacted the GP straight away. They caught a treatable infection early, before it became serious. That's the benefit of having care staff who really know the people they look after."
Harry Evans
Residents Father
"Having nurses on site at Cams Ridge means Mum's complex medical needs are managed professionally, but she doesn't have to keep going to appointments. The nurses coordinate everything, and I'm kept informed about her health throughout."

Our Care

Why families choose Westlands

Over a decade of dementia expertise

For more than ten years, Westlands has specialised in dementia care at every stage. Our team are trained in all aspects of dementia support, and it shows in the patience, understanding and professionalism that families describe in their reviews.

A setting that soothes

Surrounded by Hampshire countryside, Westlands feels calm and restorative. Views of trees, fields and gardens bring comfort, especially for people living with dementia. The gardens are safe and peaceful, with space to walk, rest and enjoy the fresh air.

Unique facilities that make a difference

Our Memory Café is a unique retreat where residents can relax and socialise, and it's also available for private family dining. Our Life Skills Kitchen supports residents in carrying out everyday tasks like cooking, preparing food and washing up, with help from our cook and care team.

Staff who genuinely care and stay

Families often mention the warmth and understanding of our team. Many have been with Westlands for years, including Caroline, our Activities Manager since 2015, and Helen, our Registered Manager since 2017. Their consistency builds trust and helps residents feel safe.
