When care needs become more complex, you need more than kindness — you need clinical expertise, experienced nurses and round-the-clock support. You also need warmth, dignity and somewhere that still feels like home.
That’s what nursing care at RMD Care provides: 24/7 registered nurses, specialist support for complex health needs and the same family atmosphere that’s shaped our homes since 1992.

Our nurses aren't agency staff. They’re long-serving team members who know residents well and genuinely care. Continuity matters, especially when someone's health is fragile.
Our nurses are highly trained and experienced, but they're also warm, patient and kind. They'll explain what's happening, answer questions, and treat your loved one with dignity and respect.
We've been caring for people since 1992, starting with our own grandfather. That family spirit still shapes how we work – hands-on leadership, long-serving staff, and a culture where people matter more than processes.
We won't sugarcoat difficult news, but we'll deliver it with compassion. If someone's condition is declining, we'll talk to you openly and support you through decisions about their care.
Nursing care is for people with ongoing medical needs that require the skills of a registered nurse. Unlike residential care, which focuses on personal care and daily living support, nursing care provides 24-hour access to qualified nurses who can manage medications, monitor health conditions, provide clinical treatments, and respond to changing medical needs.
It's the right choice when someone needs regular medical interventions but doesn't need to be in hospital.
Nursing care suits people who:
Have complex medical conditions that need regular monitoring, such as diabetes, heart conditions, respiratory illnesses, or neurological disorders.
Require clinical procedures like catheter care, wound management, PEG feeding, oxygen therapy, or medication administered by injection.
Are recovering from illness or surgery and need medical oversight during rehabilitation.
Have advanced dementia with additional health complications that need nursing expertise.
Need end-of-life care with symptom management and clinical support alongside palliative care.
Are medically stable but too complex for residential care and would benefit from having registered nurses always available.
If you're unsure whether nursing care is needed, we're happy to discuss your loved one's situation and help you understand which level of care would be most appropriate.

24-hour registered nurse cover
Qualified nurses are on duty day and night, providing clinical oversight and immediate response to any changes in condition.
Medication management
We handle all medicines — including injections and controlled drugs — with careful monitoring for side effects or interactions.
Clinical procedures
Wound care, catheter management, PEG feeding, oxygen therapy, blood-sugar monitoring and other medical interventions are carried out as needed.
Working with professionals
We work closely with GPs, consultants, hospitals and community teams to coordinate care and ensure continuity.
Personal and nutritional care
Residents receive all the daily living support of residential care (washing, dressing, meals and mobility) alongside specialist diet management where needed.
If your loved one is in hospital and needs nursing care after discharge, we’ll work with staff, arrange assessments and make sure everything’s ready for a smooth transition. We’ll take time to understand their needs and get the care plan right from day one.
