Six RMD Care Colleagues Named Finalists in the Hampshire Care Awards 2026

We could not be prouder.

We are delighted to share some wonderful news. Six members of the RMD Care team have been named as finalists in the 2026 Hampshire Care Awards.

This year, the awards received more than 550 nominations across 10 categories, with only three finalists chosen in each. Every nomination was judged independently and anonymously, which means our finalists were selected purely on the strength of their nomination and the difference they make. To reach this stage is a real achievement, and we are thrilled for every one of them.

A reflection of everyday care

Our six finalists come from Cams Ridge Care and Nursing Home and Bentley Lodge Care and Nursing Home.

Their recognition reflects the compassion, dedication and professionalism they show every single day. It is there in the small kindnesses, the warm welcomes and the quiet moments of care that make such a difference to our residents, their families, their colleagues and the wider Hampshire care community.

While six colleagues have been named, this is really a moment for the whole RMD Care family. Behind every finalist is a team that supports one another and shares the same commitment to doing right by the people we care for.

Celebrating in Southampton

The winners will be announced at the Hampshire Care Awards ceremony on Thursday 24 September 2026, in Southampton. We will be there to cheer our finalists on, and whatever the results on the night, we are already celebrating.
