Cams Ridge

A friendly monthly drop-in for carers, families, dementia friends and the local community.
Cams Ridge Care and Nursing Home is opening its doors for something new. It is called the Together Café, and it is exactly what it sounds like. A warm, welcoming place to sit down, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and spend a little time in good company.
The idea behind it is simple. Caring for someone, living with a long-term condition, or supporting a loved one can sometimes feel lonely. We wanted to create a regular spot where people from the local area can meet, talk and connect, with no pressure and no need to book. Just come along.
The Together Café is an informal, relaxed coffee morning. There is no set programme and nothing you have to do. You can come to meet new people, share your experiences, ask a question that has been on your mind, or simply enjoy a friendly chat over a warm drink.
Whether you are a carer looking for connection, a family member seeking a little support, someone living with dementia or Parkinson's, or a neighbour who would like to be part of a welcoming local gathering, there is a seat here for you.
We would love to see:
You are welcome to bring your loved one, or to come along on your own. Either way, you will find a familiar, friendly face waiting to say hello.
No one should have to feel alone. The Together Café is our way of bringing people together in a place that feels calm, kind and comfortable.
So put the first Wednesday of the month in your diary, and come and say hello. We will have the kettle on, and we would love to welcome you, your loved one, or anyone you know who might enjoy a regular place to connect.
